Sturtevant, WI (October 6, 2011)— Ivan Zoot, director of education with the Andis Company and winner of three Guinness World Records for haircuts, is instructing stylists on how to increase their clipper cutting business with Andis’ new Envy clipper at national shows and regional events across the U.S. in 2012. His class is appropriately titled “Green with Envy”, which describes the cash that will flow into salons after stylists hone their clipper cutting skills in Zoot’s class.

“Men’s haircutting is the fastest growing segment of the beauty industry,” says Zoot. “If you want to capture the dollars that are rightfully yours in this segment, you need to be able to clipper cut. Clipper cutting has never been easier than it is with the new Andis Envy.”

Models will be presented at each Green with Envy class. Zoot will demonstrate how to evaluate men’s face shapes, hair density and texture to create the most appropriate haircut for each model. Men’s fashion and style trends will be referenced during each styling evaluation. Once the best haircut for the individual is identified, the actual styling will be demonstrated with the Envy clipper. Zoot will focus on the features of the clipper that promote quick, efficient haircutting.

Green with Envy classes will be held in the winter at International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, CA, January 28-30. There are spring classes at America’s Beauty Show in Chicago, March 3-5 and the International Beauty Show in New York, April 22-24. For the summer, classes are scheduled at Premiere Orlando International Beauty Event, June 2-4, and in the fall, at the Midwest International Salon and Spa Expo in Rosemont, IL, November 4-5. Classes will be added throughout the year. The schedule will be updated regularly on the Andis Facebook page.
