All Andis clippers, trimmers, and shavers are backed by either a 2- or 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. With proof of purchase, eligible products will be repaired or replaced (depending on the model).
All Andis Blades have a 10-day warranty beginning from the date of purchase. Blades will be replaced when proof of purchase is provided.
While Andis Master® Blades and ultraEDGE® Detachable Blades can be sharpened, Andis does not provide sharpening services. Many of our Andis Authorized Service Centers do provide sharpening services and you can view the list to find one near you.
All Andis tools are covered by either a 2- or 5-year limited warranty starting from the date of purchase. The exact warranty length for your tool can be found on the product packaging or in the included materials.
Products purchased used or from unauthorized third-party sellers are not covered under the Andis warranty. Any modifications to the product—such as painting, cutting, or tampering—will also void the warranty.
Most Andis clippers and trimmers made in the USA can be repaired. Some models are not repairable and may be replaced instead if they are still within the 2- or 5-year warranty period.
For repairs sent to us here at Andis, payment must be made by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Cash and checks are not accepted. Payment is required before repair service begins.

Repairs typically take about 10 business days once your item has been received at our facility. Please note that this timeframe does not include shipping time to and from our factory.
Genuine Andis products include quality packaging and documentation. Extremely low prices, poor packaging, missing manuals or warranty information, spelling or logo errors, or no box at all may indicate a counterfeit—especially from auction or resale sites. Counterfeit products are not covered under the Andis warranty.

Products that cannot be repaired and are still under warranty will be replaced.
Pricing is based on model for repairable units. Fees are a flat rate and cover diagnosis, parts, labor, and the return shipping to any US address.

Yes, a case must be created prior to you sending your product in for any serviceable action.

Our goal is your total satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Andis.com purchase, you can return your order for a refund (less shipping and tax charges) within 30 days of the purchase. After 30 days, our normal warranty policy applies. Warranty FAQ.
If your purchase was not made directly through Andis, we offer a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required to verify warranty status. Unfortunately, Andis is unable to refund any purchases made through other retailers or distributors.

Orders under $50 ship for $5.00. Orders over $50 ship free.
Expedited (2-business-day) shipping is available for an additional cost and can be selected at checkout. Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST ship the same business day, excluding holidays and closures.
We work hard to ship within 1-2 business days. Please note, we begin processing your order as soon as it is placed, so we are unable to make any changes to an order after it has been submitted.
Andis ships within the United States, including Puerto Rico. Due to shipping regulations, Andis Cool Care cannot be shipped to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Adjustable blades are screwed onto the clipper and change length with a lever. Detachable blades snap on/off via a hinge system and offer consistent, interchangeable cutting lengths. Adjustable Blades vs Detachable Blades | Videos & Movies on Vimeo
Removing a detachable blade is quick and easy when done correctly. Start with the clipper turned off and unplugged. Hold the clipper firmly, then place your thumb underneath the blade near the hinge and gently push the blade downward and outward until it releases from the clipper.
