How to rescue a show horse

When I started saving horses, clipping became a necessity, as well as a statement. This past year, I clipped three absolutely perfect partial full-body clips. The transformation was amazing. It gave me so much pride to see these horses go from how they looked when they were rescued, to looking like show horses. The first clip I did on my first rescue, Autumn, was ... interesting. Her bright orange coat ended up grey. Turns out, I clipped her too short and her nutrition was not good enough yet.
